GMail now has voice and video chat

Yey! GMail now officially joins the bandwidth-sucking bandwagon. *groan* How will their offering fare against Yahoo? Will people bite? How will this affect other VoIP providers? Who cares?

Somehow I can hear a collective groan from all over the world. It’s coming from sysadmins who will have to deal with yet another bandwidth hog that abusive users can and will get their hands on. God help us.
