And random stuff for other nerds.
If you read books because they’re on some “Bestseller list” in some brightly-lit, glass-and-concrete monstrosity (complete with pretentious Bach, or umm Mendelsohn over the sound system) posing as a “bookstore” (and they sell “coffee” too, woohoo!!!), please go away.
If you listen to music because they’re tops on Billboard or some other “chart,” please go away.
If you watch movies because they won Oscars, or Golden Globes, or some other such silly thing, please go away.
If you dress based on what’s “hot” on some inane hot/not list or some glamour/socials section in some rag, please go away.
If you let yourself be governed by institutions which can’t earn a single-celled organism’s respect, please go away.
If you live your life based on what others think is “right,” please go away.
However.
If you think that despite all of the above, you and I can still agree on certain things, or, despite all forced tact, agree to disagree, and probably share a laugh some time, please do stay and look around. Differences make us human.
