Filial devotion, or willing endorsement of butchery?

“He talked to us and told us about this name that he is being called. We understand that it is part of his job and there’s nothing personal about that… that means my dad is really working. Every time he’s called a ‘butcher’ we are actually proud.”

Me, I’d like to stay pat on my stand about all this: This is not the way to introduce people to the BSDs. The result will be catastrophic. I have to confess I never really understood what he did, and why he obviously _enjoyed_ doing what he did. Another would be that guy on Discov who creeps up on rattlesnakes and vipers, hooks them with this weird tool, then goes merrily on with a photoshoot starring the probably confused as hell snake. I don’t get them (WHY THE HELL DO THAT, EVEN FOR THE MONEY?) but one thing’s for sure, they _were_ entertaining.
